Shipping Update

IMG_0634

We’ve received a few inquiries about shipping and wanted to give an update.

To date, we have shipped over 61 devices. There are over 225 devices that we are in the process of building and shipping.

Devices are being shipped based on the date ordered. On average, we ship approximately 10 devices a week.

Our shipping capacity is limited by our team. Final assembly and testing of all Garageio Blackbox devices is performed by the four members of the Garageio team by hand, in Columbus, Ohio. We are continuing to evaluate how we can increase our capacity so that we can increase the number of devices shipped each week.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. My credit card hasn’t been charged, do you have my order?

If you backed us on Fundable, your credit card should have already been charged. If your credit card has not been charged, the card was declined, we’re missing your address, or your order was cancelled at your request.

For all orders placed, we don’t charge your card until we ship. You should have received an order confirmation email upon placing your order. If you have placed an order and have not received an order confirmation email, please contact us via our contact form at https://www.garageio.com/contact

2. How can I check when my order order will be shipped?

At this time, we do not have a location for you to check your order status. Because we are personally assuring the quality of each shipment, we can provide only an estimate of when an order will ship. We are working on responding to each and every inquiry we’ve received asking when an order will ship.

Funding Complete!

2-Fundable

Here at Alottazs Labs, we have something to celebrate today (other than the New Year); our completion of crowd-funding. Supporters from across the world logged onto Fundable and pledged towards a smarter garage with Garageio.

“We are excited to have completed this milestone in our journey and we look forward to delivering our units to our supports as soon as possible,” stated Chief Marketing Officer, Zach Cochran.

Garageio is on Fundable.com!

We launched our much anticipated Fundable crowdfunding campaign (http://fundable.com/garageio) this Tuesday, November 12th to eager backers. We are excited by the show of support to date and grateful to those who believe in what we are doing. Garageio has come a long way from the proverbial napkin drawing (it was a very lovely napkin) and now, we step into the light to be counted.

Support Garageio on Fundable!

There are a number of ways to support our campaign (even if you don’t have a garage!). The campaign has five levels:

  • $1+ – A Thank Tweet To You From The Team!
  • $10+ – High-quality Die-cut Garageio Sticker
  • $129 – One Garageio Kit for a Single-Door Garage (retails for $149)
  • $139 – One Garageio Kit for a Two-Door Garage (retails for $168)
  • $149 – One Garageio Kit for a Three-Door Garage (retails for $179)

Be sure to tell everyone you know that we are actively raising. It is a great way to be a part of something big.

Lights, Camera, Action! Share our campaign page with your Facebook friends, tweet it to the world, tell your co-workers and your neighbors. Help us make Garageio a success!

Garageio Launch Party

This past Saturday, we set aside our computers and soldering irons to celebrate a milestone in Garageio’s history, its launch. It has only been a year since we started but so much has happened. Over the past 12 months, we developed, designed, coded, tested, tweaked, sketched, ordered, assembled, discussed, wrote, argued and agreed our way to what we have today.

Friends and family enjoyed themselves as we reminisced about our journey. I speak for the entire team when I say, thank you all for celebrating this milestone with us!

Video Shoot

4ofUs We began in the early afternoon hours on our newest video for Garageio® this past Saturday.  All hands were on deck for this historic event to debut our first prototype.  Co-founders, Zak Dziczkowski and Dave Reif, were pleased with the day’s events and felt it was a strong showing of team effort.  Zach Cochran and Greg Colarich, both in charge of business development, thought the shoot went very well and felt the content will be more than enough to show Garageio’s true value.

In the weeks to come, we plan to look into investment opportunities.  We are receiving numerous pre-orders and we thank those who have signed up for our updates!

For more information and to pre-order, please visit us at http://garageio.com.
